Amazing Officiant!  Sheri was easy to talk to and great to work with throughout planning our wedding. She took great care in learning our story and tailoring the ceremony for us. Our guests were really impressed at the unique ceremony as were we!

Her ceremony story was beautiful, and I loved the literature that she used—it was very "us", and I couldn't have picked better pieces to read. She told our love story perfectly, and captured our entire, unique love journey. She went above and beyond to ensure we had our definition of a perfect ceremony, and helped guide us along the way. I am Jewish and my husband is Catholic and we were looking to have a ceremony that incorporated both religions but wasn't over-the-top religious. Sheri was fantastic about hearing our wishes and tailoring our ceremony towards us! She would be very capable of performing a more religious wedding if that's what the couple wanted! Every choice, detail, etc. about out ceremony was tailored to us and what we wanted out of it. It never felt like a cookie-cutter ceremony, she even including our love story in our ceremony and wrote it so elegantly.


She was wonderful about changing the draft throughout our year engagement as our ideas changed and out wedding became more fleshed out. And was always quite to respond to all of our e-mails. I highly recommend her!

Sheri was a complete joy to work with--from the first meeting we knew we did not need to look any further, she was right for us. During our first meeting she was so engaged in how we met and what kind of relationship we had and she already was helping us bounce ideas around how we could incorporate my daughter and how we wanted to add a special part of the ceremony to my husband giving my daughter a special necklace. I am a huge nut when it comes to how I wanted out story shared and the details to be just right and Sheri was so flexible with changes and we were able to come together and really fine tune how we wanted to have the ceremony flow. I had and STILL have so many compliments on how personal and meaningful our ceremony was. I am so incredibly thankful we found Sheri to help us through our special day.  ~ Bethany

Sheri officiated our wedding in October. She was a delight to work with; calm, funny, easy going and very nice, she really listened to what we wanted and created a beautiful ceremony for us. We went back and forth working through a series of small changes to her first draft and she happily kept tweaking until we were completely happy. From first contact through to after our day had come and gone, she was quick to respond and very helpful. She was able to do our rehearsal for us, and she just fit really well with our crowd, made us all feel at ease instantly. During the actual ceremony, she was charming and heartfelt. We continue to receive compliments on how unique, genuine and perfectly suited to the two of us the ceremony was. Credit due to Sheri Reda for her beautiful work.

My fiancé and I are Chicago transplants and the majority of our friends and family are out of state. However, we were getting married in Chicago. We were nervous about hiring an officiant because we wanted to make sure that our ceremony was very personal and intimate. And then we met Sheri Reda a Life-Cycle Celebrant. From our initial meeting she put us right at ease. She was very kind and friendly and we could tell that she would deliver exactly what we were looking for. The ceremony drafting process was a lot of fun to work on; and Sheri was very accommodating to our numerous changes and tweaks. She even worked with us last minute when an issue arose with our rehearsal and even helped in the search for a ceremony musician. The day of, the ceremony was amazing. Our guest commented on how intimate it was and how it was perfectly crafted for the two of us. We could not have done it without Sheri and recommend her completely; you will not be disappointed.
